The History of Tajin Sobih Bangkalan

Tajin Sobih is one of the culinary that originated from the Bangkalan Regency. Precisely derived from Sobih village, one of the small villages located in the district Bangkalan. Most of the Tajin Sobih sellers came directly from Sobih village, which is why it was named Tajin Sobih.

This Tajin Sobih is commonly sold by elderly mothers by means of their heads and carried around. When you see Tajin Sobih directly, friends will be immediately remembered with marrow porridge. Consisting of stuffing made of glutinous rice flour and flour with various colors and shapes.

There are three fill colors in each portion of Tajin Sobih namely pink, brown and white. The three variants of Tajin Sobih are placed on a pan – a small pot that is used like one on a large container made of woven bamboo. Above the field of Tajin is colored-colorful and then watered with brown sugar that has been cooked concentrated. The red sugar mixture above Tajin Sobih makes it very sweet and still feels savory on the tongue.
